The Skate Station, originally created in 1987 by Neal Crawford, has been a staple of Arkansas skateboarding for over 2 decades. Through all of the trial and tribulations thrown at it, The Skate Station has proven itself, time and time again, as having local skaters on their agenda. That mission is back and reborn. With the support of Gnarkansas.com and new and old local skaters, this legendary park is back with an all new outlook on the future of skateboarding. Ladies and Gentlemen, WE ARE BACK.
Our mission: to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person at a time.
Here are the principles of how we live that every day:
It has always been, and will always be, about quality. We’re passionate about building the finest skatepark with the most advanced and challenging obstacles, to push the limits of a skateboarder and to train themselves to be the best skater they can be, while improving the lives of everyone who is with us. We care deeply about all of this; our work is never done.
We’re called partners, because it’s not just a job, it’s our passion. Together, we embrace diversity to create a place where each of us can be ourselves. We always treat each other with respect and dignity. And we hold each other to that standard.
When we are fully engaged, we connect with, laugh with, and uplift the lives of our customers – even if just for a few moments. Sure, it starts with the promise of a quality skatepark, but our work goes far beyond that. It’s really about preserving the art of skateboarding.
